Glass Railings
Glass railings combine transparency, strength, and modern design to create unobstructed views with maximum safety and durability. Featuring tempered or laminated safety glass—often ⅜” or ½” thick— in top cap or capless configurations, these systems are framed with stainless steel, aluminum, or custom-fabricated steel and can be installed via surface-mount, fascia-mount, or embedded base systems. Custom-fabricated and load-rated to meet CBC and OSHA requirements, glass railings provide a sleek, minimal profile that enhances decks, balconies, stairways, mezzanines, and any space that calls for a clean, contemporary look.
Our company provides full-service glass railings solutions, from design and engineering to precision fabrication and professional installation. We custom-engineer each system to suit your project’s architectural style and structural needs. All glass panels are precision-cut, polished, and fabricated to specification, and our metal components are crafted in-house. During installation, our team ensures seamless joints and flawless anchoring to create a railing system that is both visually striking and built to perform for decades. Whether you’re seeking a fully frameless look, base-shoe mounted glass, post-supported railings, or a hybrid system, we tailor every detail to achieve a sleek, modern finish that complements your architecture.
Our Process

Fabrication
Once your design is determined and measurements have been taken, we order the necessary materials and get to work fabricating your custom metalwork.

Dry-Fitting
Once fabrication is complete, we dry-fit the metalwork within your space to make any minor adjustments as needed and ensure everything fits perfectly.

Powder Coating
This highly-recommended optional coating provides increased durability and protection from chips and scratches to ensure your project lasts for years to come.

Installation
Our expert team will complete your installation in typically one day or less, leaving your home spotless and even better than before.

Project Submission
Submit your project details below and our team will contact you to review the scope. This ensures we fully understand your design intent, site conditions, and measurement requirements

Proposal & Design Sign-Off
After reviewing your project details, we prepare a detailed proposal for your approval. Once approved, we conduct a site visit to take field measurements and provide detailed 2D CAD drawings of the proposed design for your review and sign-off, ensuring accuracy before fabrication begins.

Fabrication
Once designs are confirmed, we source the necessary materials and begin fabricating your custom metalwork with precision and quality control.

Installation
Our trained field crews handle on-site installation, coordinating with other trades to ensure a smooth process. Every railing, guardrail, and architectural metal system is installed to meet code and exceed expectations!
Other Services
frequently asked questions
Are glass railings safe?
Glass railings use tempered or laminated safety glass, often ⅜” or ½” thick, which is significantly stronger than regular glass. In the rare event of breakage, the glass crumbles into small, blunt pieces or stays bonded to the interlayer (laminated), reducing injury risk.
Can glass railings be customized?
Glass railings are fully customizable, including glass thickness, mounting style (surface-mount, fascia-mount, or embedded base systems), metal finishes, and overall dimensions. Each system is fabricated to match the specific requirements of your project.
Do glass railings meet building codes?
Absolutely. All our glass railings systems are engineered to meet or exceed local and national building codes, including height requirements and load standards. The glass thickness is selected based on engineering requirements for safety.
Will glass railings break easily?
Glass railings panels are extremely strong and designed to withstand everyday impact and heavy loads. They are significantly more durable than regular household glass.
Do glass railings need a top rail?
Many systems do. For commercial projects, building codes often require a continuous top rail for safety, especially on stairs. Fully frameless systems may use a slim metal cap or handrail for added strength and code compliance.
Are glass railings suitable for outdoors?
Glass railings are ideal for outdoor decks, balconies, patios, and pool areas. They’re engineered to withstand wind, UV exposure, moisture, and temperature changes.
How do you clean and maintain glass railings?
Maintenance is simple: Clean panels with glass cleaner or mild soap. Rinse occasionally to remove dust and debris. Inspect hardware annually. Glass railings are much easier to maintain than wood or metal picket railings.
Will glass railings block the view?
No—this is one of their biggest advantages. Glass panels provide a completely unobstructed view, making them perfect for decks with scenic surroundings or open interior designs.
Are glass railings good near the ocean?
The glass itself is unaffected by salt air. We recommend 316 stainless steel or powder-coated aluminum hardware for maximum corrosion resistance in coastal environments.
Do glass railings scratch?
Tempered glass is highly scratch-resistant, but not scratch-proof. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools, and you’ll maintain a clear surface for many years.
